The Plaza Club is situated on the same site as two legendary former clubs:

The Union Saloon, circa 1880,
where King Kalakaua held lavish soirees, hosted dignitaries, and entertained business professionals.

The Commercial Club
Considered the heart of Honolulu’s Wall Street. The Plaza Club has been a cornerstone of our community since 1979. That same rich cultural heritage continues under new ownership in the redesigned Plaza Club.
